BDE is known for its powerful dance style fused bellydance, lyrical styling, and storytelling. You will learn new and innovative formations, floor patterns and as well as ideas for staging.

This rich choreography is full of expression, innovative steps, and floor patterns, and features an upbeat blend of lyrical and sharp movements to take you dance to the next level. 12:30-2:30 Luna "Dancing Your Heart Out"Dancing is often an expression of joy, but can also be a cathartic means of expression and communication. In this class, explore the depts of possibility with dance as communication, storytelling or activism. Inspired by Luna's piece "Strong".

Sunday, January 19, 2020 10am-12pm Jillina “Percussion Precision“This drum solo will explore intricate hip work, various types of shimmies as well as challenging isolation technique. Learn how to control your body and translate the music through your moves. 12:00-2:00 Jill Collins "Fluid Fundamentals"Join Jill Collins, featured dancer and rehearsal director for Bellydance Evolution in the studio for a hybrid class to enhance your bellydance performance with ballet and modern cross-training. Students will learn new technique exercises to increase their strength, as well as short combinations to help create more fluidity and grace in their movement styles.
