Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution (BDE) is an entertaining, cultural dance theatre company, residency program and arts engagement organization serving dance and theatre enthusiasts, international communities, and dancers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Bellydance Evolution explores, celebrates, and re-imagines Middle Eastern and Western dance for the 21st Century. We work to lift spirits, open hearts, and inspire minds.

OUR STORY
Bellydance Evolution (BDE) was created in 2009 by world-renowned choreographer,
Jillina Carlano. The company takes a revolutionary approach to the art of dance, presenting theatrical dance shows with a storyline, much like a ballet. BDE features top artists in the fields of Middle Eastern dance and music, Tahitian dance, freestyle, contemporary, tribal-fusion and ballet, each bringing their unique vision to the production.

In addition to performances, BDE members offer classes and workshops both on tour and at home, allowing a variety of people to explore the art form --- from non-dancers who want to explore a new way of expression, to dancers who wish to explore a new genre, to practicing bellydancers who want to sharpen their craft.
